Health just got loads easier!

Dear Reader,

I hope you're thriving! Got a few things today that will certainly interest you.

The (free) BioHack Pack is live!

video preview

This is for you if...

...you recognise that you need to move the needle on your health - whether that be due to excess body fat, increasing fatigue and lack of cognitive ability, a diagnosed medical problem* or a general feeling of malaise…

or...

...you're curious and interested in maintaining your maximum human potential until your final breath…

…yet you’re currently reluctant to invest time and focus into lifestyle changes.

What it is:

A carefully curated kit of products that are almost exclusively aimed at supporting your mitochondrial function: increasing your energy production and getting reactive oxygen species back under control.

If you’re not sure what that means or why I consider maintaining mitochondrial function the most important thing in health and longevity, you should read my 6-part series on it. Click here to start upgrading your knowledge.

Here’s a sneak peak of what you'll get:

  • A tasty food product formulated to act as a natural Ozempic, Metformin, Beta blocker and statin all in one. Perfect for those with excess body fat or worried about a diagnosis for a modern chronic lifestyle disease (Type 2 diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, etc),
  • The easy way to address your omega 6:Omega 3 balance,
  • A completely synthetic product researched for treating everything from treating dementia to cancer to malaria to athletic performance,
  • Cutting edge hydration and electron supply, used successfully in cancer and leukaemia treatment (even Bryan Johnson doesn't have balls like these),
  • Get the benefits of the sun without going outside,
  • Gather electrons while you work, relax and sleep
  • And as I continue to sift through the world of "magic fixes" I'll be adding more.

Are you an astronaut? (The answer is Yes!)

You may have seen the headlines about the 2 stranded NASA astronauts - Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore - returning to Earth after 9 months on the ISS. With terrible health issues.

Most articles I've seen put this down to zero gravity and excess exposure to cosmic radiation.

This is a half-truth, but not the complete picture.

Living in space provides an excellent way of compressing in time all the problems that we, back on Earth, are exposed to.

And yes, you've guessed it, the problems come down to disrupted mitochondrial function as a result of:

  • disrupted circadian rhythms,
  • unnatural magnetic fields,
  • lack of natural sunlight,
  • exposure to artificial electro-magnetic frequencies,
  • and other environmental factors that are magnified by spending time in David Bowie's Tin Can.

Are you fascinated by space travel? I am!

With Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos making space travel cheaper and easier from a technical standpoint, it appears we're on the cusp of a new space age.

However, at the moment, anybody we send to the Moon (let alone Mars) for an extended period is unlikely to come back in one piece.

For the reasons I've listed above, our cells would literally disintegrate. We could come back as blobs of organic matter!

Not even plants would grow, it seems, without fixing the fundamental corner stones of biological life.

In the sparse research that has taken place, the NASA Twins study stands out (here's a summary article). We still have a lot to discover before we start sending humans on extended trips out of the Earth's magnetosphere.

I'm preparing a dedicated newsletter on the subject, but if you can't wait for that & want to get into the reeds yourself, check out the Guy Foundation's report on Space Health here.

In my own up-coming newsletter on the subject I'll be linking how space travel impacts our sub-cellular health to why it's relevant to us down on Earth.

Here's a teaser, a Ted-X talk on how can space station lighting help us here on Earth. Yes, we can learn a lot about our Earth-bound lifestyles from space exploration!

Something for your podcast playlist.

Here's an "enlightening" conversation between Dr. Max Gulhane and Cameron Borg, two of my favourite people. It's specifically dedicated to the role of light in human health.

It's quite advanced, but if you've been subscribed to my content for a while, you'll catch a lot of useful information and fascinating thoughts on the subject.

Bottom line: current scientific knowledge has only scratched the surface of how light impacts human (biological) systems. From what we already know, it's fundamental to both the origin of life on Earth and to our every day health and vitality.

And, yes, in the BioHack Pack there is a hack for harnessing light to super-charge your health without going outside. Get the pack by clicking here.

Still on the subject of light, here are 2 videos I made for my Linkedin, Facebook and Instagram content.

Here's a quick question for you - I'll be really grateful for your feedback.

Would you like to regenerate in a "Circadian Retreat"?

What's this? Spending a long weekend or even a week in a natural environment, after which you come back totally refreshed & regenerated after trying out health-promoting things that you can continue to incorporate into your daily life at home.

In Short: trying out all the stuff I write about AND coming home feeling like a million bucks.

So would you? Please vote in the poll.

Thanks for voting!

Until next time, take care,

Roderick :)

Sunset at the Forest Circadian Retreat

Dear Reader, Nia Day, Founder of the Halestra Wellness platform, interviewed me about my 2026 Fasting Challenge (5 days fasted in a forest wilderness) and wrote a beautiful, contemplative text. I loved this framing so much I feel obliged to share it with you. Thus I am reproducing it below (with her blessing). "I've been thinking a lot this week about discomfort. The things we instinctively avoid because they're inconvenient, unsettling or simply a little harder than the easier option. In...

Morning mist in the forest

Dear Reader, 5 days without food, living wild in the forests. This is what happened: 108 hrs fasted 82,000 steps 50 km hiked 1600 vertical metres 11500 calories burnt 0 ingested 4kg lighter 4 tics (discovered so far) Short version: I'm still alive! What went right: Didn't swallow a calorie from start to finish (piece of cake when you're fat adapted and have built up the "fasting muscle"), Got my re-feed just right (no over-eating or gastric problems), Lots of forest bathing (see list of...
